As Part of our Uni course we were required to raise money for our exhibition in London.
At the time The Mighty Boosh was fairly new and about to start it's second tour around the Uk, The BIC being one of the destinations.
With my contacts I was able to get the BIC to sponcer the event by supplying us with entry tickets which also worked as raffle stubbs and x2 tickets to the show in Bournemouth.
Charlotte Kingston 'a fantastic DJ and friend of mine' also offered up her superb Djing service to the cause.
The theme was Mighty Boosh dress and we sold tickets through Facbook and via monkey cotume at uni. Dusk till Dawn in Bournemouth supplied the venue for me with a few term which we totally smashed.
The event raised a record figure for AIB modelmakers and I am very proud to pop it on my CV. It was great fun negotiating, coming up with the theme and working with fellow students that wished to help out.
My self and a fellow student also managed to get a local super market to sponser us and supply us with free food for a BBQ which was also a huge success.
